Scarlet Types

... struggle with the estrogen dominance pattern. This means they either have higher estrogen or too much estrogen relative to progesterone. High estrogen is often worsened by outside estrogen exposure in our products and food, lack of bowel movements, microbiome imbalances, and detox issues.

Low progesterone is often worsened by poor nutrient status, a high toxin load, or inflammation in the body from unhealthy foods or microbiome imbalances, all of which affect egg quality and ultimately progesterone.

Scarlet Types often dread their monthly period as it often includes significant PMS with breast tenderness, bloating, headaches, acne flare-ups, and/or mood changes, as well as menstrual pain, heavy flow with or without clots, and intense emotions.

They often feel frustrated by unintended weight gain, disrupted sleep, hair loss, or water retention.

Scarlet types commonly have to schedule their lives around when their period will come and ensure they either cancel plans around their period or have their go-to remedies on hand.

As a Scarlet type, you may have been offered hormonal birth control at some point in your life to lessen symptoms and make your periods more manageable.

Scarlet types often seek support in understanding the cause of estrogen imbalance and to find ways to live in harmony with their periods.
